MySakhi respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We believe your wellness data is deeply personal and treat it with the care it deserves.
What We Collect
Account information (name, email) when you create an account. Symptom and mood logs you choose to share with Sakhi. Listening history and content preferences. Device information and app usage analytics. We never collect data without your knowledge.
How We Use Your Data
To power Sakhi's personalised wellness recommendations. To improve content curation and create better meditations, sleep stories, and music. To track your wellness patterns so Sakhi can serve you better over time. To send you relevant updates (only if you opt in). We never sell your data to advertisers or third parties.
Where Your Data Lives
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with encryption at rest and in transit. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.
Third-Party Services
Supabase (database and authentication) Google Gemini AI (powers Sakhi conversations -- your messages are processed but not stored by Google for training) Vercel (website hosting and analytics) Apple and Google (app distribution and in-app purchases) We carefully vet all partners for privacy practices.
Health and Wellness Data
Symptom logs, mood data, and sleep patterns are classified as sensitive health information. This data is used exclusively to personalise your experience within MySakhi. We do not share health data with insurers, employers, or any third party. If you connect Apple Health or Google Fit (Premium+), that data stays on your device and is only used locally for recommendations.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses essential cookies for functionality and Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage statistics. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. The MySakhi app does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
Age Requirements
MySakhi is designed for women aged 35 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you. Correction: Update or correct your personal information. Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data. Export: Download your data in a portable format. Opt-out: Unsubscribe from communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@mysakhi.life.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of MySakhi after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
